Karmak Hosts Fusion User Summit for

DTNA Dealers at Detroit Diesel

(Carlinville, IL – May 28, 2025) – Karmak recently hosted a successful Fusion User Summit at Detroit Diesel’s facility in Michigan. The event was co-hosted by the dealer services group from Daimler Truck North America and included an interactive tour of the 3 million square foot Detroit Manufacturing Plant that produces engines, transmissions, and axles for Daimler’s Freightliner and Western Star vehicle lines. Dealers from across the US and Canada came together for the multi-day meeting that was focused on technology, innovation, process improvement, Fusion product evolution, and partnership. This is the third year in a row that Karmak has worked with DTNA to put on this event.

The attendee-driven agenda included updates on Fusion’s latest enhancements, insights from Karmak’s Professional Services team, and presentations from Karmak’s ever-growing stable of 3rd Party Partners, featuring Yooz, Voze, and Viz Auto. The DTNA team provided insights on the progress and direction of TechLane and Uptime Management Suite. Attendees were also given a sneak peak into leveraging video in their service departments as part of Karmak’s recent exclusive partnership announcement with TruVideo. The format encouraged interaction and provided numerous partnering and networking opportunities for the attendees.

“It was a pleasure to attend the event at Detroit Diesel alongside Karmak and our fellow Fusion dealers. Gaining insight into the direction of DTNA and Karmak was both informative and inspiring. The alignment between DTNA, the dealer network, and Karmak is a powerful force driving meaningful improvements across operations. The Summit fostered a strong spirit of collaboration, learning, and connection—it was truly a valuable and enjoyable experience,” says Sal Maldonado, COO of Transwest.

The Summit included a casual opening reception on the first night and a dinner/game night at Dave & Buster’s on night two. Karmak hosts multiple Summits each year in addition to their annual Karmak Conference which is set for October 20–23 in St. Louis. More information for this year’s User Conference can be found here.
